Native Garden Consultation, Design, and Installation

About
Revery Pocket Prairies offers native garden consultation and installation in the Twin Cities metro. We serve homeowners and businesses with any amount of unpaved space. We are especially excited to transform small pockets like your boulevard or dead patch of sod into a thriving haven for birds, bees, and butterflies.
Why Native Plants?
Minnesota has lost over 98% of its tall grass prairie since colonization, primarily to agriculture and development. This near-total loss of native landscape has devastated the populations of pollinators that depend on prairies to survive. From the iconic monarch butterfly to the lesser-known rusty patched bumblebee, our tiny neighbors need our help.

Benefits of a Pocket Prairie
• Even a small patch of prairie can support surprising numbers of pollinators.
• Native plants are naturally disease-resistant and drought-resistant. Compared to grass-sod and non-native ornamental plants, natives require significantly less effort and expense to maintain. Once established, prairies rarely need watering, weeding, or mulching.
• They add beauty and interest all season, and come back each year more magnificent.
• Native plants have robust root systems that support soil health and minimize erosion.
• Many native plants are medicinal.
